Our Story

Wednesday began as a spark in 2017 while I was studying Creative Brand Communication in Cape Town. What started as a passion for branding and storytelling slowly evolved into a deeper desire—to build something of my own.

After five years working on super-yachts across the Mediterranean, I returned home with a fire to create a brand that challenged throwaway culture. The wastefulness I witnessed—both in materials and mindset—left a mark. I knew I didn’t want to just make things. I wanted to make them better.

Wednesday was born from that purpose: to create made-to-last essentials that feel good to own—and good to stand behind.

Our pieces are handcrafted in Cape Town. We work in small batches, with people who take pride in their craft. Our team includes talented women with a passion for creating. Each item is thoughtfully made, from fabric to final stitch, in ethical, safe, and comfortable workspaces.
